***FT. WORTH & DALLAS WATCH PARTY UPDATES***

I hope everyone is doing well.   The purpose of this e-mail is to communicate some additional information regarding this weekend’s watch parties.
FT. WORTH
There will NOT be an official watch party in Ft. Worth this weekend.   I apologize for the confusion.   If you wish to watch the game at Plucker’s-Alliance Town Center, you are most welcome to do so.   However, there won’t be any tables specifically reserved for the Tennessee group.
We have a fantastic group of organizers in Ft. Worth who are committed to making watch parties available to the Vols on the west side of the Metroplex.   The strategy for the Ft. Worth watch parties this season will be to hold formal gatherings for select games.
Those games are:
Florida
9/22/18
Georgia
9/29/18
Auburn
10/13/18
Alabama
10/20/18
Kentucky
11/10/18
Again, I apologize for the confusion and hope that everyone enjoys the game wherever you choose to watch it.
DALLAS
We are excited to be watching the game at Slater’s 50/50 again this weekend.
Those of you who were at Slater’s last weekend may have noticed that the Ohio State alumni group is now meeting there.  Oklahoma State is also meeting there this season.
We will not have much overlap with OK State the next two weeks, but there will be significant overlap with OH State this weekend.
I met with the manager at Slater’s earlier this evening to discuss this weekend’s game and the season in general.
We still have a home at Slater’s.    We will be upstairs on Saturday, while OH State will be downstairs.   Each group will have audio for their game.
We have shared venues with other schools before, and it’s definitely possible for everyone to get along and have fun watching college football together.
We always hope for lots of enthusiastic Vol fans.   However, a consistent TN presence at Slater’s will be especially important this season so as to avoid being overwhelmed by Buckeyes and Cowboys/Cowgirls.
I hope that you will consider coming to Slater’s on Saturday to show your support for the Vols.
PLANO
Business as usual.   Wear your orange.   Get there early.   Cheer loud.
Go Vols!
